Fx Currency

Privacy policy

Last updated: 2026-09-28

Fx Currency is a free currency and cryptocurrency converter published by Depozza SAS, a French simplified joint-stock company (société par actions simplifiée). This policy explains which data the application handles, why, and what your rights are. It applies to the website and to the Android application.

1. No account, no personal data required

Fx Currency works without any account or sign-up. We never ask for your name, e-mail address, phone number, location or payment details.

2. Data stored on your device

Your favourite currencies, the selected language and the light or dark theme are stored locally in your browser or on your phone. They never leave the device and you can erase them at any time by clearing the application data.

3. Saved pairs

When you save a currency pair, the application generates a random identifier for your device and stores the pair (for example EUR/USD) together with that identifier on our servers. The identifier is not linked to any person and the record contains nothing but currency codes. It is kept until you remove the pair or clear the application data.

4. Exchange rates, charts and news

Rates, history charts and news are fetched from third-party public sources (open exchange-rate data, Frankfurter / European Central Bank, CoinGecko, public market and news feeds). These requests only carry the currency codes you selected and standard technical information such as your IP address, which those services may log under their own policies.

5. Advertising (Android application only)

The Android application is free and financed by advertising served by Google AdMob. The AdMob SDK may collect the advertising ID of your device and information about how ads are viewed, and shares it with Google and its advertising partners. Where the law requires it (for example in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom), a consent form is displayed before any personalised ad is shown, and you can change your choice at any time from the application.

You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings under Google > Ads. Google's practices are described at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

The website does not display advertising and does not use advertising identifiers.

6. Cookies and tracking

The website sets no advertising or analytics cookies. Only the technical storage described in section 2 is used.

7. Security

All traffic between the application and our servers is encrypted (HTTPS). Server access is restricted and no personal data is stored.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you may ask for access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of data that concerns you, and object to processing. Because Fx Currency holds no personal data, most of these rights are satisfied by clearing the application data on your device. For any request, write to support@depozza.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).

9. Children

Fx Currency is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this policy when the application changes. The date at the top indicates the latest version. Publisher: Depozza SAS, Paris, France. Contact: support@depozza.com.
