Frequently asked questions
Where do the rates come from?
Daily reference rates come from the open Exchange API data set, currency charts from Frankfurter (European Central Bank reference rates), and crypto prices and charts from CoinGecko.
Why is my bank's rate different?
Banks and card networks add a margin and fees. FlashFX shows indicative market rates; it is not financial advice.
Does the iPhone app work offline?
Yes. It keeps the latest rates on the device, converts without a connection and shows the date of the rates in use. Charts need a connection.
How do I change my advertising choices?
In the app, open Settings and tap Privacy options (shown where a consent form applies). On iPhone you can also use Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
How do I delete my data?
The app keeps your favourites and saved pairs on your device only; deleting the app erases them. For anything else, write to support@depozza.com.
FlashFX or Fx Currency?
Same product: the iPhone app is called FlashFX on the App Store, and the website shows Fx Currency.
